The Potentate is the eighth path of the Ennealogy archetypes. It was given its name to accentuate its energetic relationship with power and authority. Sharing many characteristics with Saturn, The Potentate is confident, patient and resilient. They are naturally wise and exude strength and authority. One of the most powerful archetypes of the Ennealogy, the Potentate has a deep seated fear of losing power. This fear motivates them to hold on to control by any means necessary—including (but not limited to) not asking for help, not accepting help, and even rejecting love where they have to give up control. The Potentate is a natural leader and an extremely hard worker, able to accept challenges eagerly—confidently knowing they will succeed.
